Litigation and Prosecutions Lawyer
Yorkshire - Hybrid
Locum, 3-6+ months
Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with an excellent local authority based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Litigation and Prosecutions Lawyer to join them on a locum basis, for a period of 3-6 months initially, but expected to be a rolling contract.
The successful locum Lawyer will have experience of handling a caseload of prosecutions matters, ideally within a local authority setting, however transferrable skills will also be considered.
You would be required to advise enforcement teams on enforcement options, consider evidence and advise on amendments to cases, and draft and issue summons. Court attendance is required at the Magistrates Court, and at the Crown Court with counsel.
The successful candidate with be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEx). Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
