Locum Litigation Lawyer – 3 months + – Full Time – Predominantly Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – Midlands

Position: Locum Litigation Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, with occasional Court attendance when required (couple of times per month)
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Regulatory and Litigation matters in Local Authority.
Duties may include:

• Manage a varied caseload of Social Housing matters, including tenancy enforcement, anti-social behaviour, and possession proceedings
• Conduct and defend housing condition claims, including matters relating to disrepair, damp and mould, and compliance with statutory obligations
• Advise clients on environmental and regulatory matters, including nuisance complaints, environmental protection issues, and local authority enforcement action
• Handle fly-tipping and waste enforcement cases, including investigation, evidence gathering, and prosecution support where required
