Locum Right to Buy Officer/ Residential Conveyancer – East Anglia – Full Time or Part Time – Remote Working – Up to £45/Hour umbrella Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Right to Buy Officer/Residential Conveyancer to join a well-regarded Local Government legal team on an interim basis, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and established Local Authority.
Role Details:Position: Locum Right to Buy Officer/Residential Conveyancer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Remote working
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to £45 per hour umbrella
Key Responsibilities:- Dealing with a high volume of Right to Buys from start to finish including post completion queries
- Dealing with certificates of compliance, deed of postponements and LPE1’s (leasehold enquiries)
- Dealing with lease extensions from start to finish
- Delivering training to colleagues and clients on complex legal processes
- Deciphering legislation and case law and advising client on range of issue such as fraud, boundaries and obligations
- Attending monthly client meetings with right to buy team and fraud team and answering complex legal queries
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience of Residential Property Law
- Experience working within Local Government or the Public Sector is highly desirable
