The role:

  • As a Lawyer in Liverpool City Council you will provide legal advice and representation in areas of law of  relevance to the Council including information governance and public law challenges to decisions 
  • You will have personal responsibility for a varied caseload, and act as a subject expert, with appropriate   support and supervision from a Senior Lawyer or Head of Law
  • You will help and support a team of Legal Officers where required 
  • You will contribute to the supervision and development of Trainee Lawyers in the team 
  • This role reports to the Senior Lawyer for the discipline 
  • You will work collaboratively within your team and the service to meet deadlines and achieve targets
