Prosecutions Lawyer

East Midlands

£55-65 DOE

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be supporting a local authority in the East Midlands with the recruitment of a Prosecutions Lawyer to cover for a minimum period of 3 months, but with a likelihood of extension.

The successful candidate for the Prosecutions Locum role will be confident to pick up a caseload that includes but is not limited to:

- Prosecutions work, including fly tipping

- Dealing with non-school attendance (must have this experience)

- Handling taxi licensing appeals, premises licence appeals

- Dealing with breach of planning, food hygiene, safety, and animal welfare prosecutions

They are ideally looking for someone on a full-time basis, but will consider candidates who are available on a part-time basis. The Prosecution's Lawyer's role can be worked remotely, but court attendance would be beneficial.
