Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – Full-Time – Remote Working – 3–6 Month+– Up to £60 per hour DOE (Umbrella)
 
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join a friendly and reputable legal team.
 
Role: Locum Commercial Property Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full time ideally, remote working
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella DOE
 
Role Responsibilities:
  • Handling a range of commercial property matters relating to the Council’s portfolio
  • Managing landlord and tenant matters
  • Drafting and negotiating new leases, lease renewals, wayleave agreements, and licences
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders, including utility providers, developers, and private tenants
  • Supporting on matters relating to markets, sales and leases of open spaces, and the adoption of public open spaces by the Council
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal governance procedures
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with strong experience in Commercial Property Law
  • Experience working within Local Government or the public sector is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
