Construction Contracts Lawyer

Locum Contract

3-6 months +

£55-70 per hour DOE

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a fantastic opportunity within a well-respected authority for a locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer with a specialism in Construction contracts. This will be a part time role, 2-3 days per week and it can be worked remotely.

The assignment will begin on a 3 month contract, but will likely be extended beyond that. Our client is looking for a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer with hands on experience working within the Public Sector, ideally within a Local Authority. This role would be suited to a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of public procurement, and will have experience of Construction, including, but not limited to:

  • JCT and NEC Contracts
  • Advising on construction with good IT skills and experience of using JCT construction software
  • Provide legal advice and assistance on Contracts, Procurement, Corporate and Commercial Law, Data Protection and Competition Law
  • Assisting with a number of high-value projects around transport

The successful Contracts & Procurement Lawyer will be joining a really friendly and supportive team, and will receive both a competitive hourly rate and flexible working arrangements. They will also have autonomy over their own caseload, therefore this role would be suited to a candidate with experience of the above.
