Right To Buy Property Lawyer - Islington, London (Local Authority role)

Hourly rate negotiable
35 hours per week
4 days remote, 1 in the office (N1 1XR)
Main Purpose of Job:
- Progress sales of council homes to tenants under the Housing Act 1985
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality legal advice and services including, where appropriate, drafting documents to client Services, Departments.
Job Activities:
- Undertake the general work of a local government solicitor as directed from time to time in particular:
- To carry a caseload of legal work, largely unsupervised, within the lawyer’s specialism and to be responsible for completing all aspects of the task in accordance with good legal practice and client service expectations.
- Make effective use of case management systems.
