A Local Authority in the South East is seeking an experienced Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join their legal team on a contract basis with an ASAP start.
This role offers a competitive £60 per hour and requires attendance in the office once per week, with the remainder of the work carried out remotely.

Responsibilities
- Managing a varied commercial property caseload for the council
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, and development agreements
- Advising on land transactions, acquisitions, and disposals
- Supporting internal departments on property-related legal matters
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX
- Local authority experience in commercial property is desirable
- Strong experience handling public sector property transactions
- Ability to start at short notice
