Locum Senior Property Lawyer – Part-Time (20 Hours) – Remote Working – Initial 3+ months – Up to £60 per hour umbrella Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Senior Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and well-regarded Local Authority.
Role Details:Working Arrangement: Part-time, 20 hours per week, remote working
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella
Start: ASAP Start
Role Responsibilities:- Providing legal advice on routine and complex property matters
- Handling a broad range of land-related transactions
- Preparing reports and delivering legal advice to Officers and Elected Members
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal governance processes
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with significant experience in Property Law
- Experience working within Local Government or the public sector is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of property transactions
- Ability to work independently and provide clear, pragmatic legal advice
- Experience supporting or supervising junior colleagues is advantageous
