Locum Commercial Property & Contracts Lawyer – Part-Time (Ad-Hoc) – Remote – Initial 3 months – Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)
 
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property & Contracts Lawyer to join a Public Sector Organisation in the East Midlands on a part-time, ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to take on a flexible interim assignment.
 
The Role:
Position: Locum Commercial Property & Contracts Lawyer
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella
Working Pattern: Ad-hoc basis (approximately 1 day per week), remote working
 
Role Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals and leases
• Providing legal advice on a range of commercial property matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contract agreements
• Supporting internal stakeholders with pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice
• Ensuring transactions and agreements are compliant with relevant legislation and best practice

 
Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with proven experience in Commercial Property Law
• Experience handling commercial property transactions (purchase, sale and lease) independently
• Strong drafting skills with experience advising on commercial contracts
• Previous experience within Local Government or the wider Public Sector is desirable
• Ability to work autonomously and manage an ad-hoc workload effectively
