Locum Criminal/Litigation Paralegal – 3 months + – Full/Part Time – Predominantly Remote Working – Up to £30 per hour Umbrella – Midlands Position: Locum Criminal/Litigation Paralegal
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full or Part Time hours can be considered
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, with occasional Court attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Regulatory and Litigation matters in Local Authority.
Duties may include:
- Assisting Lawyers with litigation files, including planning, licensing, and environmental crime matters
- Drafting, preparing, and proofreading legal documents, orders, and correspondence
- Compiling court bundles, organizing documents, and potentially assisting in court
- Conducting legal research and providing briefings on relevant issues
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, witnesses, and external legal counsel
- Ensuring all work adheres to legal standards, policies, and professional conduct
