Locum Adult Care Solicitor – Local Authority (South East) – Fully Remote

Rate: £60+ per hour
Contract: 6-month rolling contract
Working Pattern: Fully remote

We are working with a Local Authority in the South East who are seeking an experienced Locum Adult Care Solicitor to join their legal services team on an initial 6-month rolling contract, offering full remote working and a competitive hourly rate of £60+.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of adult social care matters

• Handling Court of Protection, mental capacity, deprivation of liberty safeguards (DoLS), and safeguarding cases

• Providing high-quality legal advice to internal stakeholders

• Drafting legal documents and representing the authority where required

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor / Barrister / Legal Executive

• Proven experience working within adult social care law for a local authority

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy caseload

• Strong communication and organisational skills
