Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella) Indicate rate sought
Must attend relevant Court hearings and meetings.
- Provide expert legal advice, representation, and case management on matters relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Support the Council’s statutory duties under the Children and Families Act 2014 and related legislation, ensuring lawful, fair, and effective decision-making in the best interests of children and young people.
- Weekly case management with Senior Assessment Officers holding tribunal and mediation casework, supporting and advising on key decisions
- Triaging tribunal and mediation casework
- Holding most complex tribunal cases - preparing and attending hearings
- Providing advice and support across wider SEND team
- Delivery of training
- Quality assuring bundles
