Founded in 2011, the South London Legal Partnership (SLLP) is the in-house legal service for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton and Wandsworth.

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to work in our Children's Social Care team. You will primarily be providing legal assistance to a team of children's social care lawyers on a variety of public and private law matters concerning the safeguarding of children.
You will also have the opportunity to manage your own caseload of non-contentious private law matters, under supervision by a lawyer. We are looking for a candidate who can work flexibly and collaboratively within a high-pressure environment. In return, you will be supported to develop your skills in a nurturing environment.
There are also opportunities to develop further your management and leadership skills if you are looking to go into senior management within SLLP, including developing your skills in corporate governance, as SLLP are keen to encourage staff to become our leaders of the future.
