Job Title: Locum Childcare Solicitor (Part-time)

Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the North West. The client is looking for someone to start on a part-time basis, 22.5 hours a week,  at the beginning of February.  The role is for an initial 3 months with strong likelihood of further extension.
 
Main Responsibilities:

• Undertake a reduced caseload of care proceedings, pre proceedings and PLO matters.
• Dealing with all aspects of the case
• Completing all the necessary paperwork and closing the files
• Attending the office roughly once a fortnight for PLO meetings

Recent Childcare experience is essential, as they require a candidate that can hit the ground running. Candidates that have recently qualified, and have the relevant experience, are invited to apply for this role.
 
Candidates must have worked in a Local Authority. Candidates will need to be a qualified a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
 
Hourly rate: £55ph umbrella
