Sellick Partnership is delighted to be supporting a local authority in the East Midlands with the recruitment of a Prosecutions Lawyer to cover a 9-12 month maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long term contract. The succesful candidate for the Prosecutions Locum role will be confident to pick up a caseload that includes but is not limited it:

- Prosecutions work, including fly tipping

- Dealing with non-school attendance and unauthorised encampments

- Handling taxi licensing appeals, premises licence appeals

- Dealing with breach of planning, food hygiene and safety and animal welfare prosecutions

They are ideally looking for someone on a full-time basis, but will consider candidates who are available on a part-time basis. The Prosecution's Lawyer role can be worked remotely, but court attendance is required.
