A Local Authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Locum Childcare Solicitor to join their legal services team on an interim basis.

Start date: Within the next 4 weeks
Working arrangement: Hybrid (mix of office, court, and remote working)
Contract: Locum / interim
Rate: Competitive, DOE
The Role:
Managing a caseload of public law childcare matters
Conducting advocacy in care proceedings
Advising social services and attending meetings as required
Drafting legal documents and court applications
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
Strong experience in public law childcare
Advocacy experience is essential
Local authority experience preferred
