Locum Business Support Officer – £25 per hour Umbrella – 3+ Months – Hybrid (1–2 Days Office Attendance)
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority seeking an organised and proactive Business Support Officer to assist their Legal Team on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and research skills to support a busy legal department and gain experience in a local government setting. If the candidate has property experience, this would also be beneficial but is not essential.
Role Overview:
Position: Locum Business Support Officer
Rate: Up to £25 per hour Umbrella
Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential for extension
Location: Hybrid – remote working with 1–2 days per week in the office
Hours: Full time preferred (flexible arrangements considered)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and organisational support to the Property Legal Team
Assist with legal filing, document management, and case tracking
Conduct legal research and prepare supporting materials for ongoing matters
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required
Ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation and record-keeping
About You:
Strong administrative background, ideally with exposure to legal environments
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
