Job Description:

Vivid resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority in the West Midlands who are looking to welcome a Locum Qualified Planning Solicitor to their friendly and supportive team.

   The role:

  • Full-time position

  • Start date: 5th January (flexible for the right candidate)

  • Office attendance once per week

  • 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension

  • Attendance at planning committees once per month

    Key Responsibilities:

     

  • Provide planning law advice to officers, Members, and external clients.

  • Manage a planning caseload, including litigation.

  • Draft and negotiate s106, CIL, s38, s278, and CPO documentation.

  • Advise on planning policy, enforcement, and legislative compliance.

  • Attend planning committees and meetings.

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
