Locum Planning Lawyer – Full Time or Part-Time – Remote Working – Initial 3 months – Up to £60 per hour umbrella
 
Venn Group’s specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an initial 3-month assignment, with the possibility for extension. The role offers fully remote working arrangements and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to support a busy in-house legal team.
 
The Role:
Position: Locum Planning Lawyer
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella
Working Pattern: Full Time or Part-time applicants considered (minimum 22 hours per week), remote working 
 
Duties:
• Supporting on routine and complex Section 106 agreements
• Advising on and drafting Highways Agreements
• Providing additional legal advice on planning and related matters as required
• Supporting internal departments and stakeholders with planning law queries
 
Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with recent local government or public sector experience
• Strong working knowledge of planning law, including S106 and highways agreements
• Excellent drafting and advisory skills
