Role: Housing disrepair paralegal
Contract Type: 6-month contract (scope for extension)

Remote working

£££: £20 - £25 DOE

Are you an experienced Housing Paralegal looking for a rewarding role within local government? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing Repairs Team, providing vital legal support to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.


Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice and support on housing repair matters, including disrepair claims and related tenancy issues.
* Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
* Liaise with internal teams, external solicitors, and stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
* Assist in preparing cases for court hearings and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
* Maintain accurate records and manage caseloads within agreed timescales.

Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within housing law or property-related matters.
* Strong understanding of housing legislation and disrepair claims.
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and work to deadlines.
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
