Job Description:

Venn Group have been instructed on a Locum Planning Lawyer position with a local authority in Yorkshire.

The role will involve responding to queries from planning officers, including issues relating to traffic regulation orders and some highways work, as well as ad hoc planning queries.
 
Start: Jan/Feb 2026
Duration: 3 months initially with scope to extend
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Travel: Committee attendance is beneficial, but can be considered on a fully remote basis
Rate: £55-60ph umbrella
 
The successful candidate will have previous local government experience in a Planning Legal team.
