Locum Prosecutions Solicitor – Local Authority (Yorkshire)

A local authority in Yorkshire is seeking a Locum Prosecutions Solicitor to join their legal team on an initial 3-month rolling basis.

The Role

You will support the council’s prosecution function, including:

• Preparing and progressing prosecution files

• Attending court as required

• Providing general legal support to the wider team

(Full duties will be discussed upon screening, as requirements may vary.)

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX

• Previous local authority or public-sector prosecutions experience desirable

• Ability to handle matters with minimal supervision

• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
