Adult Social Care Lawyer

London Local Authority

Locum Contract

Up to £60ph (umbrella)

A reputable local authority in London is seeking to recruit an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their well-established team.

The Adult Social Care Lawyer will join the London Council on an intial 3 month contract, which will then be extended on a rolling basis. Office attendance is flexible and usually required a one day per month. The client is seeking a cadidate available to work full-time hours, however will consider a compressed working arrangement.

The successful candidate will be required to manage a mixed caseload of Adult Social Care matters including:

  • Court of Protection (COP)
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)
  • Care Act
  • Mental Capacity Act

This will be a great opportunity for a determined Adult Social Care Lawyer to develop their expertise, and take on a varied and interesting caseload, within an accomplished team.
