Locum Planning Solicitor – Midlands (Remote)
6-Month Contract | ASAP Start | 1x Monthly Committee

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Midlands-based local authority who are seeking an experienced Locum Planning Solicitor to join their legal team on an initial 6-month contract.

Key Details:

• Location: Midlands (fully remote)

• Commitment: One in-person planning committee per month

• Contract: 6 months (likely extension)

• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Handling a full range of planning law matters, including:

  • Section 106 Agreements

  • Section 38 Agreements

  • Local Plans

  • Unilateral Undertakings

• Providing clear legal advice to the planning and development teams

• Attending and advising at planning committee meetings (once per month)

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with relevant local government planning law experience

• Strong understanding of development management and planning obligations

• Previous experience advising at planning committees is preferred
