Job Description:

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a well-regarded and growing London Borough's legal team to recruit an interim inhouse childcare advocate.

This position will be offered as a standard 3 month rolling contract to cover a permanent recruitment effort - candidate will ideally be able to start ASAP,

The position is open equally to qualified barristers or solicitor-advocates who will be expected to cover 3-4 hearings per week in person - no office attendance is required.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience conducting their own advocacy,
- Be able to attend final, contested, and multi-day hearings on behalf of the authority with limited supervision,
- Live locally enough to attend courts in London as often as 3 times per week,
- Ideally have prior inhouse local government experience to be able to hit the ground running.
