Locum Childcare Solicitor – London

We are seeking an experienced Locum Childcare Solicitor to join a London Local Authority! This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare lawyer to take on a rewarding role offering flexibility!

Key Details:

• Start Date: Within the next 4 weeks

• Location: London (once pw attendance)

• Duration: 3 month rolling

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in childcare law

• Ability to manage a caseload of care proceedings and related matters

• Confident in advocacy and case management

• Previous local authority experience desirable

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice and support to social services teams

• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation, statements, and evidence

• Representing the local authority in court

• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding best practice
