Lawyer (Adults)

Westmorland & Furness (Local Authority role)
Fully remote working

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable

37 hours per week - Role can be entirely remote

• Main caseload will be COP work and advocacy and legal queries from the ASC client
• Must be a qualified solicitor/legal exec
• Handling a case load of COP cases including conducting advocacy on cases.
• To provide rota’ d (office hours) cover on the Adults legal inbox.
• To advise and assist the client in relation to legal queries and to work from time to time with the Senior and Lead lawyers in providing legal input into bigger projects involving ASC matters in the Council.
• Will report Senior Lawyer for the Adults legal team
