Locum Legal Officer - Prosecutions / Criminal Litigation
Location: London (remote working considered)
Rate: DOE
Contract Length: Initial 6 months
I am working with a
London Borough who are currently in the market for an interim
Legal Officer to come into their team and assist with a range of
Criminal Litigation / Prosecution matters. You will sit within the supportive and collaborative Litigation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with Fixed Penalty Notices for littering
- Follow single justice procedure for education non attendance matters
- Happy to learn and support with wider litigation matters
Requirements
- Past experience working within a Local Authority in England
- Recent experience dealing with FPNs and Single Justice Procedures
- Attend the office to collect IT on the first day
- Willingness to apply yourself and learn whilst collaborating with the team
- Ideally attend the office once a month
