Our client, a Local Authority in the Southeast, is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer for a minimum period of 6 months, to assist with a project relating to Council Homes and Estates.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and friendly team. Hybrid working would be preferred for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer:
Our client is looking for an experienced commercial lawyer who is familiar with construction contracts, who would be able to assist with the following:
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of housing related contracts, agreements (and policies relating to capital works)
- Advising on procurement strategy, compliance and risk mitigation
- Supporting governance and statutory compliance
- Drafting and negotiating JCT/NEC contracts, collateral warranties and guarantees
