Job Description:

Senior Highways and Litigation Locum

This is a great opportunity to join our Local Authority client and take on a varied caseload of civil and criminal litigation matters.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Council and a National Park Authority, providing comprehensive advice on a range of litigious matters
  • Dealing with unauthorised encampments
  • Education prosecutions
  • Highways advice
  • Criminal prosecutions matters, including: trading standards and environmental health
  • Offering support and mentoring to junior members of the team

This is a fully remote role. Both full and part-time hours will be considered.

The client is seeking a candidate who has substantial experience working in litigation for local government. You must be willing to learn new areas of law to be able to provide fast-paced legal advice on a range of topics.
