£53,460 - £59,944 per annum

This is a pivotal moment to join Winchester City Council’s Legal Services Team. Following a recent restructure, we’ve investing in key roles to help shape the future of our Legal Service.

Winchester City Council is seeking a proactive Senior Property Lawyer to join our Legal Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of property matters that support the Council’s strategic goals, including regeneration projects and affordable housing initiatives.

What we are looking for:
You will be successful in the Senior Property Lawyer role if:
  • You have an innovative and commercial approach to ensure the delivery of a high quality in-house legal service.
  • You are able to work as part of a team, be flexible, enthusiastic and committed.
  • You have demonstratable experience of providing legal advice and support in local authority or a comparable organisation, applying the legislation, guidelines, regulations, code of practice and industry standards.
  • You have supported asset purchase and disposal, landlord and tenant issues, and affordable housing schemes.
