Locum Childcare Lawyer – Yorkshire – Hybrid Working – Excellent Rates

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority in Yorkshire who are seeking an experienced Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their Legal Services team.

This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility to work from home and attend court as required. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake their own advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy caseload of public law childcare matters

• Conduct advocacy in court hearings

• Advise and support social care teams on childcare law and procedure

• Prepare legal documents, statements, and evidence bundles

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (CILEx)

• Recent experience handling childcare cases within a local authority

• Strong advocacy skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and case management abilities
