Legal Clerk – Local Authority – £13 to £15 per hour – Hybrid Working – Worcestershire – Initial 2-3 months
Venn Group’s specialist legal team is working with a Local Authority in Worcestershire who are seeking a Legal Clerk to join their Commercial Law Team on an interim basis.
The Role:
Position: Legal Clerk
Rate: £13 to £15 per hour (Umbrella)
Duration: Initial 2-3 months with potential for extension
Location: Worcestershire / Hybrid Working
Hours: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
Support legal work relating to Highways, Public Rights of Way and Commons
Draft and check standard legal documents, notices, and correspondence
Liaise with internal departments, the Planning Inspectorate, and members of the public
Arrange and support public inquiries and court hearings
Provide general administrative support to the wider Commercial Law Team
Maintain accurate records, update web content, and assist with document sealing and filing
About You:
Previous office experience with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload effectively
Confident, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
An interest in law or local government is desirable
