Job Description:

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority's growing legal team in the North East of England who are looking to hire a locum childcare solicitor on a 6 month initial contract,

 

This post will involve irregular in-person advocacy for non-contested hearings - the rest of the position can be done on a fully remote basis, although any office attendance would be welcomed.

 

 Some details of the assignment:

- Handling a mixed caseload of PLOs and Care Proceedings,

- Conducting advocacy (mainly CMHs and IRHs),

- Full-Time hours, although part-time candidates will be considered,

- Have prior experience working within a local authority setting.
