Locum Contracts & Procurement Solicitor – Local Authority
Rate: £55-60ph
Location: fully remote
Contract Length: 3–6 months initial (likely extension)
Start Date: Within the next 4 weeks
Hours: minimum 3 days per week up to full-time
Vivid Resourcing are currently partnered with a Local Authority who are looking to bring on board an experienced Contracts & Procurement Lawyer on a locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established legal team handling a varied caseload of commercial, contracts, and procurement matters.
Role Responsibilities
Advising client departments on a broad range of contracts and procurement issues, including commercial, framework, and grant funding agreements
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and procurement documentation
Providing advice on public procurement regulations and compliance
Supporting wider corporate and commercial projects as required
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent)
Previous Local Government experience within contracts and procurement law
Ability to manage a mixed caseload with minimal supervision
Available to start within the next 4 weeks
