Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella)
37 hours per week
- We are looking for candidates with significant PQE in Adult Social Care ideally in a Local Government Setting.
- The successful candidate will deal with all aspects of Adult Social Care law which includes Court of Protection Welfare Applications, Ordinary Residence Disputes and Section 21A Challenges within our People Team which also includes Children’s Social Care and Health.
- You will handle a legal caseload which may include complex and legally challenging matters, drafting complex and significant legal documents and engage in detailed negotiations with parties as appropriate .
- You will advise, prepare and conduct proceedings acting as an advocate for the Council at court, tribunals, inquiries and other statutory and legislative hearings.
