Senior Planning Lawyer - Southwark, London (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Negotiable, umbrella

36 hours per week.

2 - 3 days in the office

• Significant experience in dealing with complex s106 and s278 agreements
• Being able to provide legal expertise on highly complex issues for the council, ensuring that services are commercially focused business driven and comply with the Council’s statutory and contractual obligations.
• Significant experience of local government law
• Comprehensive and detailed knowledge in relation to the Law in one or more of the following areas: Planning, Regeneration and Highways
• Experience in giving advice on good governance arrangements
• Desired but not necessary: giving advice and being able to attend planning committees
