Locum Contracts & Procurement Solicitor – Local Authority (North West)
Rate: £60–£65 per hour (DOE)
Location: North West (Hybrid Working)
Contract Length: 3–6 months initial (likely extension)

Vivid Resourcing are currently partnered with a Local Authority in the North West who are looking to bring on board an experienced Contracts & Procurement Solicitor on a locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established legal team handling a varied caseload of commercial, contracts, and procurement matters. The council offers hybrid working, with flexibility to work primarily from home and occasional office attendance.
Role Responsibilities
Advising client departments on a broad range of contracts and procurement issues, including commercial, framework, and joint venture agreements.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and procurement documentation.
Providing advice on public procurement regulations and compliance.
Supporting wider corporate and commercial projects as required.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent).
Previous local government experience within contracts and procurement law.
Ability to manage a mixed caseload with minimal supervision.
Available to start within the next 4 weeks.
