London in their search for a
Housing Litigation Lawyer with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour on a locum basis for an initial 3-month role.
Details:- Job Title: Housing Lawyer (Anti-Social Behaviour)
- Hourly Rate: Up to £55 umbrella per hour (depending on experience) – flexible for the right candidate
- Length of Contract: 3 months initially with high possibility for further extension
- Working Pattern: Full-time – 36 hours per week
- Location: Local Authority in London
- Office Attendance: 1 day per week required – remote working considered
Duties/Responsibilities:This role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparing and conducting legal proceedings relating to housing and tenancy enforcement
- Advising officers and stakeholders on housing litigation and anti-social behaviour matters
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, notices, and court pleadings
- Working closely with housing officers, enforcement teams, and external stakeholders to deliver effective case outcomes
Preferred experience:
- Strong knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour law within a local authority setting
- Experience managing a caseload of litigation matters, including possession claims and injunctions
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams
- Previous local government experience
