Vivid Resourcing are working with a Local Authority in the East Midlands who are seeking an experienced Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to join their team.

The Role:

• Advise on a wide range of contracts and procurement matters within a busy local authority setting.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, frameworks, and agreements.

• Provide clear, practical advice on public procurement regulations and compliance.

• Support internal stakeholders and contribute to efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with significant contracts & procurement experience.

• Strong background in public sector/local authority work.

• Ability to work independently and remotely.

• Available to start within the next 4 weeks.

Key Details:

• Contract: 6-month rolling contract

• Rate: £60+ per hour (DOE)

• Working Arrangement: Fully remote
