Litigation Lawyer
Rate: £55 - £60 per hour (umbrella/interim)
Location: Birmingham (West Midlands)
Working: Hybrid (1 team meeting in the office each week, 1-3 times court attendance per month)
About the Litigation Lawyer Role:
Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in the West Midlands. The role will be for an initial 3-month period with a strong possibility of being extended.
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Lawyer role:
The successful Litigation Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of mainly commercial litigation matters:
- Experience of high-value breach of contract, breach of leases, and contentious landlord and tenant matters
- Dealing with forfeiture claims, breach of data protection
- Must be able to deal with penalty charge notices and boundary disputes
- General civil and property litigation matters
- Court attendance dealing with judgments
You will need to be able to undertake advocacy in person 1-3 times per month in Birmingham.
