Childcare Lawyer

Enfield, London (Local Authority role)

3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable - Indicate rate sought

35 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to undertake complex child care proceedings on behalf of the LA, deal with PLO, SEN and advice in Legal planning meetings.

A qualified solicitor / barrister / legal executive with experience of working in one of the following areas:

Safeguarding e.g. childcare protection, vulnerable adults including mental health and adult protection, homelessness/ housing appeals and judicial reviews in childcare and other relevant work.

Experience of presenting cases before Courts/Tribunals/Public Inquiries where the post holder has the right of audience on all matters.

Experience of preparing and processing all legal documents relevant to the work of the Client Groups/Service.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can undertake these tasks immediately.
