A well-established council in Yorkshire is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join them on a locum basis. The contract will be for a minimum for 3 months, with a view to extend.

Our client is seeking an Employment Lawyer with experience of dealing complex employment tribunal cases and HR advisory work. This role is suited to an experience Lawyer who can work with minimal supervision.

The locum Employment Lawyer will need to conduct their own advocacy, at least at remote hearings, and ideally in-person hearings too. However, remote working will be considered for the right candidate. Counsel can be instructed for anything particularly complex.

The successful candidate will be organised, with good communication skills and prior experience of dealing with complex employment tribunal cases.

This is a full-time role and the hours can be worked over 5 days, or condensed in 4 days if desired.

The successful Employment Lawyer will join a stable, organised and friendly team, and will receive a competitive market pay rate.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively, should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chloë Cameron in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.

Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
