Housing Litigation Lawyer

Rate: £50 - 60 per hour (umbrella/interim)

Location: North West - Greater Manchester

Working: Remote

About the Housing Litigation Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in the North West. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

The lawyer will be overseeing housing matters within the Litigation Department. ensuring effective case management, preparation of cases, and covering of court hearings in person.

Although full-time work is favourable, the council will also consider part-time.

Key Responsibilities of the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

The successful Litigation Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of housing and civil litigation matters, which may include matters such as:

  • Anti-social behaviour injunctions
  • Disrepair claims
  • Possession proceedings
  • Judicial Reviews
