£33,143 - £36,363 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Senior Revenues Officer (Enforcement and Quality Assurance) to join our Revenues and Benefits team. This is a brand-new role which means you will have the opportunity to shape and make it your own, whilst ensuring that the Revenues team continues to meet its income collection targets and delivers a high quality, professional and responsive customer service.

A team player who builds positive relationship in teams, you will have experience of working in a senior role in a busy Revenues environment. You will have a thorough current working knowledge of Council Tax, Business Rates and BIDs including collection and enforcement legislation. Representing South Hams and West Devon at both the magistrates’ court and the Valuation Tribunal, you will be able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the performance of Revenues staff by recording accuracy statistics and highlighting any training needs. We wish to fully implement our software supplier’s Performance Management and Quality Assurance module and an important initial part of the role will be its implementation.
