An exciting opportunity to join our expanding healthcare regulatory team as a Paralegal, undertaking investigations and other key tasks for a large healthcare regulator.
These roles build upon our existing Tier 1 ranked professional discipline practice as part of a new team.
This team will be at the forefront of developing our practice areas, bringing our expertise to new clients with a view to expanding our work for professional regulators.

The role will include:
- Case management and progression under lawyer level supervision
- Reviewing evidenc
- Interviewing witnesses and drafting statements
- Drafting instructions to counsel and experts
- Corresponding with witnesses, experts, counsel and other stakeholders
- Supporting stakeholders including vulnerable witnesses
- Drafting court documents and preparing bundles
- Assisting with drafting legal advice on evidence and case status
This list is not intended to be exhaustive and you will be expected to perform other duties and have other responsibilities that fall within the wider remit of the role.
About YouPrevious experience as a Paralegal is desirable, as is a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks.
We also require you to have:
- Previous experience of working as a paralegal in the healthcare, regulatory or insurance fields
- The ability to work to KPIs, other deadlines and meet a chargeable hours target
- Excellent IT and administrative skills
- Good communication skills and able to demonstrate a person centred approach
- Good written skills
- Good analytical skills demonstrating an attention to detail
- A positive attitude and being able to respond to the needs of clients and stakeholders
- A proactive approach and be able to work well under supervision as part of a team
