Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – Remote Working – Up to £65 per hour Outside IR35


Position: Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer
Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time hours considered
Working Arrangements: Remote working, with equipment to be collected on the first day
Contract Length: Initial 3–6 months, with potential for extension
Rate: Up to £65 per hour, outside IR35


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Advising on significant procurement matters across a range of areas, including IT, public health, HR, pensions and other core services
• Ensuring legal compliance with procurement regulations relevant to the public sector
• Preparing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, occasionally in collaboration with external legal advisors
• Providing legal input on procurement strategy, governance frameworks, contractual risk and the design of commercial arrangements in line with evolving procurement legislation
