Duration: 3 months + with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Fully Remote Working
Hourly Rate: Up to £32 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have experience in handling
Data Protection matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of
Local Authorities.
Duties may include:- Advising on GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000
- Drafting data protection policies and privacy notices
- Advising on data security, including drafting and advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Advising on and drafting data sharing agreements and data processor agreements
About You:
- An experienced Data Protection Practitioner with the ability to work on a varied caseload
- Proven track record in dealing with complex Subject Access Requests, particularly relating to social care records, child and adult care, and SEN records
- Experience of processing SARs within a Local Authority setting
- Ability to occasionally travel to the office is desirable
